We come into Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals with the Colorado Avalanche leading 1-0 against a Tampa Bay Lightning team looking to win is third consecutive championship.
The line on this game was Colorado -150 with a total of 6.
Game 2 is Saturday in Denver and the Lightning know they will have to strike first and often to avoid falling behind two games in this best-of-seven series. They will also need to slow the Avs down.
“We’re dissecting the game by zone, by special teams, by breakouts, by forecheck,” Tampa Bay head coach Jon Cooper relayed. “There’s so many different things that go into it.”
Andre Burakovsky scored the game winning goal in overtime for the Avalanche. Gabriel Landeskog and Valeri Nichushkin also scored for Colorado just 1:36 apart for a 2-0 deficit before the 10-minute mark. The Landeskog score paid out $1400 for every $100 bet for the First Goal of the Game Scoring prop bet.
